HOTT STUFF leaves the club and takes over the Ottawa River aboard a two-level paddle boat transformed into a high-energy open-air dance floor. Join hundreds of music lovers, members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and allies as we celebrate Pride with three unforgettable hours of progressive, melodic, tech, and house music on the water.

Introducing HOTT DECK, a first-ever floating edition of our quarterly ByWard Market series - reimagined for Ottawa Pride Weekend aboard a two-level paddle boat transformed into a moving daytime dance floor.
This is not a pleasure cruise.
This is not background music.
This is a full-scale open-air HOTT STUFF experience - on the Ottawa River.
From 3PM to 6PM, the Ottawa skyline becomes your backdrop as the deck turns into a high-energy space for connection, movement, and music in the sun.

What started as an underground night in the ByWard Market has grown into one of Ottawa’s most exciting and inclusive dance communities. HOTT DECK continues that evolution - bringing together our 2SLGBTQ+ community, allies, and music lovers for a Pride weekend celebration unlike anything else in the city.

- HOTT DECK will depart from "Ottawa Boat Cruise", located at 160 Rue Laurier, Gatineau, QC.

- ⚠️ Do Not Be Late. ⚠️ The boat will depart promptly at 3:00 PM SHARP and cannot be held for late arrivals. There is no way to join the event once the vessel has left the dock. We strongly recommend arriving no later than 2:30 PM to allow ample time for parking, check-in, and boarding.
- We encourage guests to utilize ride-share services for drop-off and pickup whenever possible. For guests returning to Ontario after the event, Quebec-based taxi services will be available and on call when the vessel returns to dock.
- Free parking is available at the departure location for those choosing to drive.
- Guests with accessibility questions or accommodation requests are encouraged to contact us in advance so we can assist in determining whether the vessel can meet their specific needs.
- HOTT DECK will operate rain or shine. The Ottawa River Queen features two covered levels, providing extensive protection from the elements while allowing guests to continue enjoying the event in comfort should weather conditions change.
Event Details
GET ON THE DECK.
- HOTT DECK is a 19+ event. All guests must present valid government-issued photo identification upon arrival. Guests who are unable to provide valid ID will be denied entry.
- This is a dance party, not a sightseeing cruise. Expect a high-energy atmosphere, a packed dance floor, and three hours of non-stop music as we celebrate Pride Weekend on the Ottawa River. Whether you're dancing on the main deck, enjoying the outdoor patios, or connecting with friends old and new, HOTT DECK is designed to be an unforgettable floating dance experience.
- Fully licensed cash bar available onboard. Debit and credit accepted. Please drink responsibly and remember that once the vessel departs, there is no opportunity to leave the event until the boat returns to dock.
- For the safety and comfort of all guests, all attendees and bags are subject to security screening prior to boarding.
- Guests who arrive visibly intoxicated may be denied boarding at the sole discretion of event staff and the vessel operator. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
- All guests must wear, at a minimum: footwear, shorts, tank top (mesh see through is OK). Shirtless and bare feet are not permitted due to boat safety regulations.
- HOTT DECK will depart rain or shine. The boat has 2 full levels under roof for plenty of coverage in the event of rain.
- Photography and videography will occur throughout the event. By attending HOTT DECK, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, and appearance in future promotional materials, social media content, and event marketing. We will accommodate take-down requests upon receipt, however.
- All sales are final. No refunds, with exception noted below.
- In the event of severe or dangerous weather, Ottawa Boat Cruise reserves the sole right to cancel the sailing. Should the cruise be cancelled by the vessel operator, all ticket holders will receive a full refund.
